New view of the planet after Saturn

There's virtually no way to write a headline for a post about this planet without it sounding like a joke.  For example:

  • New view of Uranus
  • Uranus has moons and rings
  • Uranus shines bright in new shot
  • Taking a closer look at Uranus

See what I mean?  Hopeless.  Now, the Smithsonian did OK; I guess as long as you mention "telescope" in the same breath, it's not as bad.

See the James Webb Telescope’s Stunning New Image of Uranus With Its Rings and Moons Clearer Than Ever

It is a great set of images;  you can see all the rings around ... well, you know.

The Daily Mail provided a labeled image; I presume NASA provided it, but I couldn't find it directly from that source.

Now, the first part of the Daily Mail headline is a bit problematic:

See Uranus like never before

(No thanks.)

However, they follow it up with:

NASA releases a stunning photo of the planet showing its rings, moons, and storms in incredible detail

So that's not so bad. As long as it's about astronomy and not medicine, the headlines aren't so bad.  I just don't want to see "Detailed 3D images of Uranus reveal surprises" or something like that.

Parting shot:  after looking around accidentally, I found the labeled image. And it's a really good one.

(No snide remarks about something being wide, please.)
