I'm not even sure how I found this, but somehow Hin Sam Wan, known in English as "Three Whale Rock", showed up on my radar. It's a very striking rock formation in northeastern Thailand.

It appears to be a roughly 75 million year old sandstone formation, though other sites called it metamorphic, which would make it a quartzite. That makes sense, because quartzite would enable the smoothing that creates the surface appearance.
