Friday round-up

When I say round-up, this will cover various details of the women in the world.

Julie Benz at the Emmys (cute dress)

Alicia Witt is grown-up (also at the Emmys; for an actress this talented, she hasn't been doing a lot in film or TV, but she had a pretty memorable guest turn, as well as bump-and-grind, on 2 1/2 Men last year)

Lindsay Price at the Emmys (purple is not a common color, but it works here on her)

Padma Lakshmi is pregnant -- "miraculous" (overcoming pretty severe endometriosis)
No current information on who the father is; if this was a natural conception, then if the gentleman who assisted Ms. Lakshmi in her quest for motherhood is so discrete that he doesn't even tell his friends (which is certainly something you'd be tempted to do in this case) -- then more power to him for his discretion, valor, fortitude -- and good fortune.

Karina Smirnoff shows why dancer's bodies are fine-tuned (PETA ad; discrete as well, but trust me, this is the definition of FINE tuned)

Now if PETA could just get Kym Johnson (but this one is sufficient for now)
