Evidence keeps adding up to warmer world

Every intelligent Western nation except this one (well, maybe not Canada) understands that global, human-caused, CO2-doing-it climate change is happening, and the temperature rise is increasing, and virtually all of Mother Nature's indicators are all pointing in that direction. This simple tale would be hard to explain to the head-in-the-sand or up-their-arse Tea Party imbeciles in Congres, but it isn't hard for normally perceptive people to get it.

The figures show the contribution to sea level rise is increasing, though still at a low level, but what alarmed the team most was that the rate of loss has sped up rapidly since 1980.

"The glaciers have lost a lot less ice up until 30 years ago than had been thought. The real killer is that the rate of loss has gone up 100 times above the long-term average. It's scary," said Professor Glasser, who carried out the study with the University of Exeter and Stockholm University.

Mountain glaciers are relied on around the world, but research suggests that, globally, they are losing mass and speeding up.

Oh well. The Tea Party just wants to cut the budget and enrich the rich. Too bad about their grandkids (and mine).
