First day of Pan Pac swimming championships is event-full
Well, on the first day of the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, Katie Ledecky showed the world she's still Katie Ledecky -- and we're not; Missy Franklin got better and faster (2nd fastest time in the 200 even though she wasn't in the championship final); and there was apparently a heck of a race in the men's 1500 meter freestyle, which Connor Jaeger won over Ryan Cochrane by 0.18 seconds. In a 1500. That's close.
Katie Ledecky wins two golds, adding to U.S. haul of 10 medals on first day of Pan Pacs
