What a grate idea!


Yes, I have smashed and destroyed more than a few muffins trying to spread rock-hard butter on them.  No, I did not have time to leave it out to get soft.  When I put it in the microwave it melts - suitable for lobster, but not as good on muffins.  I've tried whipped butter but it's not the same.  Neither is soft spread margarine, which is OK and I regularly use it, but it's not as good as BUTTER.

So this design for a knife that grates cold hard butter into softly spreadable shapes  is brilliant.   I want one.  ASAP.
