My first sonnet for the New Year

I've been getting motivated to write more sonnets this year.  So I got off to a quick start in January.


' repeat as necessary ' 

As same as anything can be, and still 
each time -- each place -- each dance is never quite 
a duplicate experience. The skill 
to make it more develops, but despite 
an awkwardness of novelty the right 
way to accomplish this is normally 
determined by an apt alignment. Sight 
and sound and touch and thought are markedly 
committed to the goal with properly 
connected commonalities converged; 
and aspirations blend as willingly
as dedicated tributaries merged
create the deeper stronger wiser flow 
which gratefulness and liquidness bestow.
